While 6-6 for a MAC school is normally a fine record, Miami dealt with some tough injury luck losing their starting quarterback and not really getting him back for the entire season. As you can see, the offensive numbers really struggled and while the defense held up nicely, the offense tended to be the issue in the losses. They scored 20 against Buffalo, 13 against BG, 10 against WMU, 21 against Ohio. Those numbers are really pedestrian against poor defenses. They will have a new OC (internal promotion) entering the season and they can’t get much worse.
